FUN WITH FRIENDS :)
We had the opportunity to go spend the day with Steve, Katie and there kids in beautiful St. George. We were going down Saturday morning for Mikes brothers' graduation in Cedar City and then a baby blessing the following day. Since I talk with Katie often, she suggested that we come down a day early and spend the day with them since they were going to be there, so we did. We had alot of fun having a picnic at the park and then later going up to the DIXIE rock and looking around at the neat rock formations. We also were able to go to the "narrows" where we could try to squeeze ourselves through the small crack. Mike and the children were able to make it through. The kids ran through it like it was nothing. Katie and I decided to try and unfortunately I was unable to get through so I had to take an alternative route. Katie made it quite easily...way to go!! We did have a great time and look forward to our next outdoor excursion. After we were done with the outdoor adventures we headed back to Steve's parents and had dinner, visited with Steve's family and had a fun but messy chocolate fondu party. The kids had a ball and quinton was beside himself. He had never seen anything so cool, and of course he didnt want to eat the chocolate coated fruit just make a mess covering the fruit. Needless to say it was a great start to the weekend. Thanks Steve and Katie for inviting us down and thanks to Steve's parents for letting us stay at there home. We look forward to many more adventures!!

UPDATE!!
Sorry for the lack of posting. Its not due to technical difficulties but more with involvment in moving and getting everything back in working order. So, yes we have moved..but dont worry its not far. We transferred from our two bedroom to a three and are loving the tons of extra space. We know that it wont last long since we are already on the path of "NEW" things to help fill in the empty spaces. Mike is loving the fact the he now has on "OFFICE" where he can shut the door and hide from the craziness of Quinton. In the two bedroom he had a hard time finding a place that he could find quiet but now he has a room all to himself...YEA!! So far Quinton has enjoyed the new place too. If you ask him where our new apartment is he still points towards the old one but I am sure he will figure it out in time. Once again sorry for the slacking on my part but please stay tuned...

CONCRETE CANOE CONTEST IN GOLDEN, COLORADO
We had a great time in Colorado attending the annual Concrete Canoe Contest. It is held at a different location every year and next year it will be in Provo, Utah. Yes, Provo so if you feel compeled to come watch I highly suggest it. It was so fun and not something that you see everyday of your life. I had a hard time believing that concrete can float, but as you see here, it does. Our canoe did very well in all of the events and to boast a little more we beat BYU in every event...woohoo!! It was soooo funny to watch BYU's canoe sink as they struggled to cross the finish line...HaHa!! There were many schools that came for the competition and did pretty well. There was South Dakota, whose canoe ended up breaking into four pieces on the drive over to CO, University of Wyoming, University of New Mexico, whose canoe was awesome in competition as well as the look of the canoe, University of Colorado, Colorado School of Mines, Metropolitan, Air Force, Utah State, BYU and of course U of U. All of the students involved in making the canoe did an awesome job and we look forward to the competition next year!!

"COUSINS"
We had the opportunity today to watch one of Quinton's cousins. Her parents went to go pick out colors for there new townhouse they just bought. They have been living in Cedar City for the past two maybe three years so we dont get to see Ava and her family too much...so we were very excited to have her for a few hours. It was fun to watch Quinton with her; he wanted to be the one to try and entertain her and give her the binki even when she didnt want it. Quinton is going to be a a great big brother someday. Thanks for coming to play Ava!!
