FROSTY THE SNOWMAN

Every year on Christmas, my family builds a snowman. It was great fun this year as it is every year. My sister-in-law Breann and I decided that this year we were going to try to make "Frosty The Snowman". Since a regular snowman just has three balls of snow, we wanted to add legs. It turned out great and looks pretty cool. We were unable to do the finishing touches because of night fall and the drop in temperature so "Frosty" is to be continued...

The snowman ended up being about 12 feet high. And as you can see in the first picture. We had to use a ladder to put the head on.

CHRISTMAS EVE & CHRISTMAS DAY

For Christmas Eve this year we went to Mike's parents for dinner and other activities. Mikes family does the nativity each year where everyone gets a part and acts it out. Since Mike has such a large family, not everyone was involved but we had alot of fun seeing everyone in such creative costumes. Everyone had to improvise at the last minute so some of the costumes look a little silly. Quinton dressed as a wise man.
Aleena was baby Jesus since she is the smallest out of the most recent grand kids.

We had a great christmas this year. It started at 6:30 am and was full of excitement. Quinton came running into our room yelling "Santa came!" He had alot of fun ripping open his presents and playing with all his cool toys that santa brought. After all the presents were opened, we decided to get ourselves ready so we could go up to Grandma and Grandpa's house. My brother and his family come over and we opened more presents and were all suprised with a gift my parents had gotten for the family. The present was a Wii. And so from there on out thats pretty much all we did was play with the Wii. It is sooo much fun and very addicting. Christmas was a blast and as always I hated to see it end.

Christmas Angel

I think the picture explains itself.

TIME TO PLAY IN THE SNOW!!

The snow has finally started to fall and although I hate the cold and driving in it, It adds so much to Christmas. There is something about the snow, lights and the cold that makes me feel like a kid again. From the first time it snowed, Quinton has been begging me to go outside to play. So I finally caved and thankfully it was a beautiful day outside.

SANTA CLAUS

Every year the USA has Santa come see the kids. Quinton had alot of fun and was able to tell santa what he wanted for Christmas.

FREE BOWLING NIGHT

Mike and I decided to take advantage of the free bowling night sponsored by ASUU. Why pass up free fun and food? They had free bowling, pool and lots of free pizza, drinks and popcorn. Quinton had a grand time and loved the bowling. He scored a 97 and he only used that ramp thing like maybe 3 or 4 times. He bowled a strike in the first frame and I couldnt even get a strike until the last frame! We both agreed that we would like to continue going to these free events for Quinton to enjoy.
