HAPPY EASTER!!

We had a great Easter this year. On Saturday we took Quinton and Aleena to the big Easter Egg Hunt at the Huntsman Center. Quinton had fun gathering eggs and candy. After the Hunt he played in one of those blow up jump houses and then we went home. The weather was a bit on the cold side that day. On Easter Sunday, Quinton awoke to find little bunny feet all around the house and many different eggs and toys that the Easter Bunny left. He had fun following the footprints which lead him to his Easter Basket. It was fun to watch how excited he got when he found an egg or toy. After church we went over to my uncles house for a Easter dinner.

SOUTHERN FUN IN THE SUN :0)

We decided to spend Spring Break in Hurricane, Utah this year. Mike and I have both fallen in love with Hurricane and its beauty. We hope to have Hurricane become our permanent residence.
While in Hurricane we went hiking in Zions National Park, looked at houses and residential areas as well as spent a little time in good old St. George. We also had the privilege of spending a couple days with my grandparents. They were staying in an RV resort in Hurricane so we hung out with them and they enjoyed the kids. We really enjoyed our time together as a family. It was so nice to have Mike 24/7, I didnt have to share him with work, school or any other obligations he would have had while at home. I really didnt want to come home to all the mundane things but..."all good things have to come to and end." Darn it!!

Sealing and Birthday

Saturday Feb 28th was a big day for the Rigby family. We were finally sealed to Aleena for time and all eternity. The sealing was so special and the children brought such an amazing spirit with them. Aleena cried for a few minutes and Mike finally had to just hold her so the sealer could move on. We are so eternally grateful and happy right now. We cant believe that she is ours forever and no one can take her away. Aleena has been a joy and we love her so very much. She always has a smile on her face and that always brightens our day. We thank our Heavenly Father every day for sending her to us. Recieving our children is the best blessing that our Father in Heaven could ever give us.

We also celebrated Quinton's 4th birthday. He has been looking forward to this day for weeks. Thats all he could talk about for hours and yes is drove us nuts. Gratefully, the day finally came and we all had alot of fun. Quinton chose to go bowling for his birthday so we reserved some lanes at the Crimson bowling alley on campus. Quintons grandparents, uncle, aunt and cousins came for his party. He did an awesome job bowling and even got a stike on his first bowl. After bowling we opened presents at our place and ended the day. Of course, now that the day is over, he is continually asking for more presents...LOL What a kid!!

Celine Dion "Taking Chances World Tour" Concert

I finally was able to go to Celine Dions concert. I only had to wait over a year to go! I had a great time and had great company. The concert started at 8 pm and of course they always have a first act before the actual concert you payed to see starts. The guy who was performing was I guess a comedian. He was trying very hard to make fun of alot of singers as well as actors. Some of them were funny but others were just crewed or just plain dumb. It was a good thing that he only lasted for 30 minutes. Once he was off stage it was a great concert. Celine's voice just amazes me and suprisingly she is quite funny. She spent probably 10 minutes or so just monologing about how she cant belive that she has never been to SLC before and she was very apologetic all throughout the concert. The 1-year wait was definitely worth it for me. My mom would probably say differently (the reason being that it was originally scheduled to be on Friday Nov 21,08 but was rescheduled for Sunday Feb 22, 09). She was a good sport about it though. Thanks Mom! I Love You :0)

Also a Thank-you to Breann and Katie for coming!!
